Where can I rent a car near the hotel?

Is there a shuttle to and from the airport (SFO/OAK/SJC)?

San Francisco Int’l Airport (SFO):

  • 13 Miles from Parc 55
  • 30 minutes by car
  • Taxi appr. $45 one way
  • Lorrie’s Shuttles 
    • Airport Shuttle: $17.00 each way / passenger – shared ride
    • Private Van: $80.00 each way / up to 7 passengers
    • Private Van: $100 each way / up to 11 passengers
  • Public Transit via BART (Powell Street Bart Station across street from hotel). $8.65 one way.
    • 5AM – Midnight M-F
    • 8AM – Midnight Sa, Su, Holidays

Oakland Airport (OAK):

  • 16 Miles (across SF Bay)
  • 45 minutes (allowing for bridge delays)
  • Taxi appr. $50-60 (including bridge tolls) one way
  • Public Transit via BART. (Powell Street Bart Station across street from hotel). $4.05 one way to Oakland Coliseum Station, AirBART Shuttle Bus from there ($3 per person).

Can I ship a package to myself? And where can I pick up my package?

Yes, we do allow you to ship packages to yourself or a guest at the hotel. We can hold your packages for 5 business days. You can put the package recipient name and hotel arrival date on the package – please make sure it matches the name on the reservation. Fees apply per package.

Does the hotel have a parking garage and what are the rates?

Our hotel Parking Garage entrance is adjacent to the main entrance on Cyril Magnin Street. Current rates are listed below:

  • Standard Size Automobiles: $59.28 including local taxes for 24 hours
  • Oversize Vehicles & SUV’s: $68.40 including local taxes for 24 hours
  • Motorcycles: $29.07 including local taxes.

Parking rates include full in and out privileges for registered guests. Prices are determined from the time the car is first placed with the garage. Hourly rates are also available.

Directions to and from the hotel?


  • Take Highway 101 North
  • Stay in Right two lanes
  • (101 will split off the Left and the Right will now be I-80)
  • Take 7th Street Exit, staying in second lane from Right
  • Exit ramp merges onto 7th Street
  • Move to Right lane
  • Turn Right on Folsom Street (2nd light)
  • Turn Left on 5th Street
  • Continue across Market Street to Hotel.

(Hotel is on the Left side, one block North of Market, where 5th Street merges into Cyril Magnin Street)


  • Take Highway 101 South
  • Cross Golden Gate Bridge
  • Take Lombard Street Exit
  • Turn Right on Van Ness Street
  • Turn Left on Eddy Street
  • Turn Left on Cyril Magnin Street
  • (Hotel is on the Left side)


  • Cross the Bay Bridge (I-80 West)
  • Take 5th Street Exit (on the Left Side)
  • Exit ramp leaves you at an intersection
  • Veer Right onto 5th Street
  • Continue across Market Street to Hotel.
  • (Hotel is on the Left side, one block North of Market, where 5th Street merges into Cyril Magnin Street)

Both Wired and Wireless Access are available in Guest Rooms at the following rates for every 24 hours. This includes wireless access for the guest in the Public areas:

  • $18.95 Premium    30 meg of bandwidth


Billing inquiries/receipts

For any inquiries regarding your bill or receipts, please telephone the hotel directly at (415) 392-8000 and ask for Accounts Receivable.


Location/Hours of the Concierge Desk:

Our Concierge team is located at the South end of the Registration Desk in the Second Floor Lobby. Their hours are:

  • 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM daily


Where can I post Letters/Post Cards in the hotel?

Postage stamps can be purchased from the Registration Desk. There is a mail drop between the escalators and the elevators on the First Floor


Can I store my luggage somewhere, before and after check-in or check-out?

Your luggage can be stored at our Bell Desk next to the escalators on the First Floor before and after check-in or check-out.


Does the hotel have a Business Center?

The FedEx Business Center is located on the Lobby Level:


Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Closed Sunday

Do you have room service?

The Parc 55 does not offer Room Service. Please inquire at our Cable 55 restaurant or the Concierge (both on the second floor) for alternatives.


Does the Parc 55 have a swimming pool?

The Parc 55 does not have a swimming pool. Please see the Hotel Concierge for suggestions about alternatives.


Where is your Fitness Center?

Our State of the Art facility, 55 Fitness, is located on the Third Floor, near the elevators. It is open to hotel guests 24 hours a day. Use your room key to enter.


Where can I book Alcatraz Tickets?

Please visit for more information about booking tickets for Alcatraz tours. Tickets are limited and we strongly recommend you purchase in advance. In the summer and around the holidays, these tours tend to sell out up to three or more weeks in advance.
